Tall ships are traditionally-rigged sailing vessels. This image is one of my favourites. It was taken from Victoria’s iconic Johnson Street bridge (better known as the Blue bridge) during the 2005 Tall Ships Festival in Victoria.
This is a stunning shot of the inner harbour at night. The Steamship Terminal Building, the Parliament Building and the Empress are all visible in the background. The large ship you see in the foreground is the Pallada (Russian), and the other tucked in behind is the Cuautemoc (Mexico).
